Hi Tara, I've enjoyed listening to/reading your posts - I have a landscape architect's/artist's perspective (with some natural science background) but I've had similar thoughts when traveling myself, in terms of being/not being a "tourist" and compensating for our inevitable impacts. I try to make myself believe that visiting environmentally sensitive places "just" for the sake of making artwork that (so far at least - I'm working on it!) few people see anyways still makes it "purposeful." Anyways, I'm looking forward to hearing more!
Thank you, Darren! I appreciate you taking the time to share. Your art is cool - interesting play of perspective. I think more of us need to be mindful of our impacts on the world, as tourists or at home... unfortunately, we'll often be "stuck" without a good way to offset our impacts. But I like to think that awareness, at least, is better than nothing, and an important step toward doing more.

Thank you as well! Yeah, plus if a lot more of us had just that awareness we'd probably end up needing much less action on top of it.
